Black Hole is a real-time Schwarzschild black hole that runs in a browser tab. Every pixel traces a ray of light backwards through the curved spacetime in a WebGL2 fragment shader, so the shadow, the photon ring and the warped image of the accretion disk behind it all come out of the maths.
The disk is brightened and blued on its approaching side by Doppler beaming. The Physical look applies the frequency shifts; the Film look switches them off. The sky is built from the Yale Bright Star Catalogue over a Milky Way map. You can orbit and zoom with mouse, touch or keyboard, pick a Low, Medium, High or Ultra quality level (it steps down automatically when frames get slow), save a PNG, and switch to a light theme. The page fetches only its own files and needs no keys.
